Eligibility Criteria

Orphaned children, children of widows receiving pension, children of specially-abled parents, or children of divorced women.
Child must be sent to an Anganwadi (0-6 years) or School (6-18 years).

Ensure the Palanhar and Child are mapped correctly in Jan Aadhaar.

Obtain the study certificate from the child's school (must be generated via Shala Darpan portal).

Apply on the Palanhar portal via eMitra.

The grant is credited to the Palanhar's bank account.

•Renewal is required EVERY JULY. The child's new class study certificate must be uploaded to continue receiving the grant.

Varies by age group. Typically ₹1500/month for school-going children, plus an annual lump sum for clothes/books.
