Eligibility Criteria

Applicant must belong to the General Category (not covered under SC/ST/OBC).
Gross family income must be below ₹8 Lakh per annum.
Family must not own 5 acres or more of agricultural land, or a residential flat of 1000 sq ft or more.

Obtain an Income Certificate first.

Download and fill the EWS offline form and the attached affidavit.

Get the affidavit notarized on a ₹50 stamp paper.

Submit the file via an eMitra kiosk.

The Patwari and Tehsildar will verify the land and income details before approval.

•EWS Certificates are valid ONLY for the financial year in which they are issued.
•The income calculated includes salary, agriculture, business, and profession for the financial year prior to the year of application.

Yes, because financial status changes, a new EWS certificate must be issued every financial year.
