Eligibility Criteria

Applicant must possess a permanent or temporary disability as recognized by medical authorities.

Apply online on the national Swavlamban (UDID) portal or via eMitra.

Select the district hospital for the medical board check-up.

Visit the hospital on the designated date for an assessment by specialist doctors.

The doctors will update the disability percentage online.

The UDID card and certificate will be generated digitally and physically mailed.

•A disability of 40% or more is generally required to avail of most government schemes and pensions.

Yes, once the UDID is generated, you can apply for the Specially Abled Pension scheme.
